What is GitHub-flavored Markdown?
GitHub-flavored Markdown (GFM) extends standard Markdown with tables, task lists, strikethrough and automatic links. It’s used by GitHub, GitLab, Reddit, Discord and many documentation tools — and it’s what this converter supports.
Line breaks
In standard Markdown, a single line break is ignored; leave a blank line to start a new paragraph, or end a line with two spaces. Tick treat single line breaks as <br> to match the behavior of GitHub comments and chat apps. Check your document length with the word counter.
