How to convert HEX to RGB
A HEX color is three pairs of hexadecimal digits for red, green and blue. Convert each pair to decimal: in #2747D6, 27 = 39, 47 = 71 and D6 = 214, so the color is rgb(39, 71, 214). Three-digit shorthand like #FA0 doubles each digit: #FFAA00.
A note on CMYK
Screens mix light (RGB) while printers mix ink (CMYK), and printers can’t reproduce every bright screen color. The CMYK values here are a standard mathematical conversion, good for a starting point. For professional printing, ask your printer for their color profile and check a proof.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert HEX to RGB?
Split the HEX code into three pairs and convert each from hexadecimal to decimal — or paste it above.
What is the difference between HSL and HSV?
Both use hue and saturation. HSL uses lightness (50% is the pure color); HSV uses value or brightness (100% is the pure color).
Can I enter color names?
Yes — any CSS color name like “teal” or “rebeccapurple” works.
Is the CMYK conversion exact?
It is a standard formula. Exact print colors depend on the printer, paper and color profile.
