Add Watermark to Photos

Protect your photos before you post them. Add your name, website or logo as a watermark — in a corner, centered or tiled across the image — and process many photos at once.

How to watermark your photos

  1. Add your photos. Drop several at once to watermark them all with the same settings.
  2. Choose a text watermark (your name, © year or website) or upload your logo.
  3. Adjust opacity, size and angle, then pick a position — a corner, the center, or tile it across the whole image.
  4. Click thumbnails to preview each photo, then download one image or all of them as a ZIP.

Choosing the right watermark

  • Corner watermark (low opacity, small): subtle branding for social media and portfolios. Easy to crop out, so best for credit rather than protection.
  • Center watermark: harder to remove; good for proofs sent to clients before purchase.
  • Tiled watermark at an angle: the strongest deterrent — used for stock-photo previews, real-estate listings and documents such as ID copies (“For rental application only”).

An opacity of 30–60% keeps the photo visible while making the mark clear. White text with a shadow works on most photos; use dark text on very light images.

Watermark ID documents before sending

When a landlord, employer or service asks for a copy of your passport or driver’s license, add a tiled watermark such as “Copy for ABC Rentals — June 2026”. If the copy leaks, it can’t easily be reused for identity fraud. Because this tool runs in your browser, the ID image never leaves your device.

Do watermarks stop theft?

No watermark is impossible to remove, especially with modern AI tools, but a visible mark discourages casual copying, keeps your name attached when images are shared, and makes it easier to prove ownership. For extra privacy, remove hidden location data from photos with the EXIF remover, and resize large originals with the image resizer before posting.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a watermark to many photos at once?

Drop all the photos in, set up the watermark once, then press Download all (ZIP).

Can I use my logo as a watermark?

Yes. Choose “Logo image” and upload a PNG — a transparent background looks best.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Watermarking happens in your browser.

Does watermarking reduce quality?

PNG images stay lossless; JPGs are saved at 92% quality, which looks identical to the original.
