How to use the fancy font generator
- Type or paste your text into the box — a name, a bio line or a short message.
- Scroll the list to preview your text in every style.
- Tap Copy next to the style you like, then paste it into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X (Twitter), YouTube, WhatsApp or any app.
How do “fonts” work when you copy and paste?
Social apps don’t let you change fonts. These styles aren’t really fonts — they are special Unicode characters that happen to look like styled letters. Unicode, the standard every phone and computer uses for text, includes a “Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols” block with bold, italic, script, Fraktur (gothic), double-struck and monospace alphabets, as well as circled, squared, fullwidth, small-capital and superscript letters. Because they are ordinary characters, they survive copy and paste just like emoji.
Popular uses
- Instagram and TikTok bios — make your name or tagline stand out.
- Discord nicknames and server names with gothic or bubble letters.
- Gaming usernames for Fortnite, Roblox and Steam (check each game’s character rules).
- Post captions and headlines on LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
Things to know before using fancy text
- Accessibility: screen readers may read styled letters as “mathematical bold capital A” or skip them. Keep important information, like your business name or contact details, in normal text.
- Search: people searching for “John” won’t find “𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧”. Don’t use fancy text for the name field you want to be discoverable by.
- Missing letters: some styles don’t have every character (for example, there is no superscript “q”), and older devices may show empty boxes.
- Character limits: many styled letters take two text “units”, so they can use up bio limits faster. Check the length with the character counter.

Frequently asked questions
Do these fonts work on Instagram?
Yes. They are Unicode characters, so you can paste them into your Instagram bio, name, captions and comments.
Why do some letters show as boxes?
The device or app is missing a font with that character. Most modern phones support all of these styles.
Can I use fancy fonts in my Discord name?
Yes, Discord supports Unicode in nicknames and messages.
Are fancy fonts bad for SEO or accessibility?
Search engines and screen readers may not treat them as normal letters, so use them for decoration, not for essential text.
