How to rearrange PDF pages

  1. Choose your PDF and wait for the page previews.
  2. Drag and drop a page onto the position where it should go. On a phone, use the ← and → buttons under each page.
  3. Use Reverse order to flip the whole document, for example when a scanner fed the pages last-to-first.
  4. Press Save PDF to download the document with its new page order.

Fixing double-sided scans

Many office scanners can only scan one side at a time. The usual trick is to scan all the front sides, flip the stack and scan all the back sides — which produces a PDF ordered 1, 3, 5 … followed by the backs in reverse: 6, 4, 2. The Fix double-sided scan button interleaves the two halves automatically into 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. It assumes the first half of the file contains the fronts in order and the second half contains the backs in reverse order.

When page order matters

  • Applications that must follow a checklist order — CV, certificates, then ID.
  • Reports where an appendix or cover page was added in the wrong place.
  • Merged files, where you want to interleave pages from different documents.
  • Booklets and presentations exported from different sources.

Quality and links

Pages are moved, not re-created, so nothing about their appearance changes. Text stays selectable and images stay sharp. Internal links that jump to a page number inside the document may point to the old position after reordering, so check them if your PDF relies on a clickable table of contents.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reorder pages on my phone?

Yes. Use the ← and → buttons under each page preview to move it; drag-and-drop also works in most mobile browsers.

How does “Fix double-sided scan” work?

It assumes the first half of the pages are the fronts in order and the second half are the backs in reverse order, and interleaves them into the correct sequence.

Does reordering change the content of the pages?

No. Pages are moved exactly as they are; only their order changes.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The previews and the reordering are done locally in your browser.
